Chief Executive Officer & Director
Timothy joined Nadex in 2008 as the General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in May, 2014. Timothy has over 25 years of management, legal, and regulatory experience in the financial markets, including as Director and Compliance Counsel with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and, before that, as a partner with the law firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas.
Early in his professional career, Timothy worked as a financial analyst after passing the Illinois Certified Public Accounting examination.
Timothy earned his JD from Loyola University School of Law after graduating from the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in Accounting.
Chief Regulatory Officer & Chief Compliance Officer
Kate joined Nadex as Chief Regulatory Officer & Chief Compliance Officer in 2016 and has over 7 years of compliance and regulatory experience in the derivatives industry. Prior to Nadex, Kate was the Director of Compliance at Rosenthal Collins Group, LLC and the Chief Compliance Officer at Ironbeam, Inc. Early in her professional career, she worked in an investigative supervisory role at the National Futures Association, the self-regulatory organization for the U.S. derivatives industry, including on-exchange traded futures, retail off-exchange foreign currency (forex) and OTC derivatives (swaps).
Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University – Eli Broad College of Business, where she majored in Finance.
Chief Financial Officer
Andy joined Nadex as Chief Financial Officer in March 2017 and has over 11 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Nadex, Andy worked in accounting, operations, and financial reporting of alternative investment funds at William Blair Investment Management, LLC. Andy began his career in public accounting at RSM US, LLP in their Alternative Investments and Brokerage Practice where he primarily managed audit engagements for financial services clients.
Andy earned his Bachelor of Science from Miami University where he majored in Accounting. Andy is also a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Chief Commercial Officer
Travis joined Nadex in 2019 as the Chief Commercial Officer with executive oversight over all commercial channels to include: Marketing, Customer Management, Business Change and Business Development. Travis has over 15 years’ experience driving derivatives trading growth in the retail brokerage industry, having held executive roles with the retail brokerage firms TradeStation, Optionshouse and TradeMonster.
Early in Travis’ career he worked as a senior options trader for a proprietary trading firm trading S&P 500 and Eurodollar options on the floor of the CME.
Travis earned a B.A. in English from Lake Forest College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and an M.S. in Management from NYU.
John has been a Nadex director since January 2012 and acted as interim CEO from January - May 2014. John has over 15 years of experience in retail derivatives and developed the world’s first retail-focused binary contracts in 2002, while working as IG Group’s New Products Director. John has served as Head of Research and is currently Chief Analytics Officer at IG Group plc in London.
John studied Chemistry and Computer Science at Cambridge University and has a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
John is an experienced trial and appellate attorney, practicing at Collins & Collins in Chicago, Illinois. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney from 1992 through 1997, he prosecuted bank fraud, securities fraud, and other white collar crimes. In addition, John has served as general counsel for the United States Soccer Federation, Inc. and currently serves as a member of both the FIFA Legal Committee and the Board of Advisors of the National Sports Law Institute.
John studied Accountancy at the University of Illinois and earned his JD from University of Chicago Law School.
Robert is a Professor of Finance and the Frank W. Considine Chair of Applied Ethics in the Business School at Loyola University Chicago. His career spans almost three decades as a finance professor, and he has published more than 50 academic research articles and more than 20 books.
Robert’s books include the recent publication of the sixth edition of Understanding Futures Markets and the fifth edition of Futures, Options, and Swaps (both with James A. Overdahl).
Jon is currently Chief Information Officer at IG Group Holdings Plc, a role he has held since 2012 and is responsible for all IT functions and marketing operations in IG Group.
He has considerable experience built over 16 years in the business having held various roles at the Group including, Futures Dealer, Head of Futures Trading, Dealing Director and Dealing and Operations Director.
