Nadex Amends Strike Width for US SmallCap 2000 Intraday 20-Minute Binary Contracts

On August 18, 2017, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”), pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and section §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commission under the Act (the “Regulations”), its intent to amend to update its Rule 12.61 (US SmallCap 2000 Binary Contracts) to amend the strike width for the narrow 20-Minute Intraday US SmallCap 2000 Binary contracts, with expirations occurring between 11:40am and 2:20pm Monday through Friday, from 0.5 to 0.6. Nadex plans to implement these changes for the open of business on trade date September 5, 2017. Additionally, Nadex submitted notification to Commission pursuant to section §40.6(d) of the regulations that it amended the strike width of 20-Minute Intraday US SmallCap 2000 Binary contracts on trade date August 18, 2017 for expirations between 11:40am and 2:20pm from 0.5 to 0.6.
