Nadex Temporarily Refrains from Listing Contracts

On trade date March 18, 2020, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”), due to the activity in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, and pursuant to the authority granted in Rule 12.1(h) and (i), Nadex took the following actions:

  • At 2:13am ET all US Indices Daily and Weekly Call Spread and Binary contracts were closed for trading due to the limit down in the underlying markets upon which the contracts are based, and reopened at 9:35am ET.

  • At 12:56pm ET all US Indices Daily, Weekly and 2-Hour Intraday Call Spread and Binary contracts were closed for trading due to the limit down in the underlying markets upon which the contracts are based, and reopened at 1:14pm ET.

  • US Indices 20-Minute Intraday Binary contracts were not listed beginning with the 1:20pm ET expiration time and were relisted beginning with the 1:40pm ET expiration time.

  • US SmallCap 2000 Touch Bracket contracts will not be relisted for the remainder of the week.

  • For expirations occurring from 6:05pm ET through 6:25pm ET, only the AUD/USD, EUR/USD, USD/CAD 5-Minute Intraday Binary contracts were listed.All FX 5-Minute Intraday Binary contracts were listed beginning with the 6:30pm ET.
