Nadex Temporarily Refrains From Listing 5-Minute Contracts on Trade Date April 16, 2018

On April 16, 2018, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) temporarily refrained from listing its Intraday 5-Minute Currency contracts, at various periods from 6:45pm ET through 1:55am ET. Specific listing times were as follows:

  • No 5 Minute Intraday AUD/USD Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 6:45pm ET – 7:20pm ET, 8:20pm ET – 1:20am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday EUR/JPY Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 7:20pm ET - 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday EUR/USD Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 6:45pm ET – 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday GBP/JPY Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 7:25pm ET – 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday GBP/USD Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 7:25pm ET – 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday USD/CAD Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 6:45pm ET – 7:20pm ET, 8:20pm ET – 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

  • No 5 Minute Intraday USD/JPY Binary contracts were listed with expirations occurring between 6:45pm ET – 7:20pm ET, 8:20pm ET – 1:25am ET, and 1:35am ET – 1:55am ET;

The decision to refrain from listing these contracts was due to a technical issue with the underlying data feed, and action was taken pursuant to Nadex Rule 12.1(h).
